Hot and Cold: Revolution in the Present Tense -- An upcoming public art project in Romania

Anna Harsanyi   <>  writes:

I am an independent curator co-organizing Hot and Cold: Revolution in the Present Tense, a public art project in Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca, Romania that will take place in December during the 25th anniversary of the Revolution that ended Communism. The interactive artworks in Hot and Cold will bring together diverse audiences to discuss themes of democracy, civic participation and urban life in Romania today.

On September 3rd we'll be launching a crowdfunding campaign on Tilt, and I wanted to ask if you would spread the word to your network. Each person who donates will receive a link to a website we've created that collects experiences from people all over the world about 1989 and the end of Communist governments in Eastern and Central Europe. Our campaign is a community effort and a way for people to connect and engage with themes of democracy and civic action at this historic time.

We would love to have the participation of you and your colleagues at the Southeast European Studies Association of America in this endeavor, and I hope that you will help us get the word out about our campaign.

Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.
